I’m unsure who was more excited to try the WOOF Pupsicle — me or my dog. My American Cocker Spaniel, Sir Alvin, is a hardcore foodie. Of course, all dogs love treats, but Cocker Spaniels will never refuse an extra meal or treats. When I discovered the WOOF Pupsicle and WOOF Treat Tray, I knew it was a game changer.

Whether you share life with a foodie like Sir Alvin or just want a healthy, fun way to make treats for your dog, the WOOF Pupsicle is worth trying. It is super affordable and easy to use. Since Sir Alvin is a very good boy, he loves to play with and work on his WOOF Pupsicle. It’s easy to clean and long-lasting, and my dog loves the taste of the premade Refill Pops.

Now that we have a DIY mold, I can also prepare tasty dog treats and much more in minutes. I heard someone call the WOOF Pupsicle an iPad for dog parents, and here’s why.

What is a WOOF Pupsicle for Dogs?

The WOOF Pupsicle Treat Dispensing Dog Toy is an interactive dog toy available in three sizes: small, large, and extra large. The dishwasher-safe, natural rubber design is easy to fill and reusable. Pet parents unscrew the bottom of the toy, insert a Pupsicle treat inside, and watch as their dog spends the next 20 to 40 minutes enjoying a snack.

The fillable cavity inside the toy can be used with homemade recipe pops, long-lasting premade Pupsicle Refill treats, or stuffed with your dog’s favorite treats. Pet parents love this product because it provides long-lasting entertainment and mental stimulation and is easy to clean, safe, and durable.

I’ve often been on work-related calls or ZOOM meetings and needed quiet time. After filling the WOOF Pupsicle with a Refill Pop in peanut butter and beef flavor, Sir Alvin was entertained and silent right by my side. I told my dog mama friends about the WOOF Pupsicle, and they planned to order one for their dogs, too.

Despite lacking cooking skills, I’ve wanted to try homemade dog treats for Sir Alvin. Thanks to the new WOOF Pupsicle Treat Tray, I can whip up a batch of healthy treats without gourmet skills or fancy ingredients.

What Is The WOOF Pupsicle Treat Tray Mold?

I’m all about affordability, ease, and variety; the WOOF Pupsicle Treat Tray is all this and more. You’ve probably seen dog treat molds before, but none are as economical and convenient.

Woof Pupsicle Treat Tray

Each WOOF silicone mold has four openings that you fill with your pup’s favorite foods—wet food, low-sodium beef broth, Greek yogurt, or peanut butter dog. Freeze, and in just a few hours, you’ll have four delicious, long-lasting treats ready for the Pupsicle toy.

The tray’s easy-to-use design allows endless recipe creativity, giving you control over ingredients while saving money on store-bought treats. Plus, cleanup is a snap—just rinse, toss it in the dishwasher, or let your dog help with a quick lick! The Pupsicle Treat Tray lets you try infinite treat possibilities and entertain your pup. Sir Alvin is happily lapping up his latest Pupsicle concoction, so he’s too busy to comment.

Homemade WOOF Pupsicle Recipes To Try

Because I want my dog to have a variety of treats, the WOOF Pupsicle Treat Tray inspires my creativity. It is easy to fill, dishwasher safe, and has enough room for four treats, so I created four completely different concoctions.

Since my dog has a sensitive stomach, I appreciate that I control the ingredients and know what ends up in his tummy. With endless possibilities for flavors and ingredients, pet parents customize the tray to their dog’s taste preferences and dietary needs.

Whether it’s a hot summer day, the middle of winter, or somewhere in between, making your own Pupsicle pops is a fun and easy way to keep your pup satisfied and busy without a ton of calories. Here’s what we tried:

Greek Yogurt and Fruit WOOF Pupsicles

Ingredients:

  • Greek yogurt
  • Fresh or frozen berries or fruit (we used blueberries and bananas)

Instructions:

  1. Blend the yogurt with the fruit in a small bowl or place a small amount of yogurt into the WOOF Treat Tray.
  2. Add fruit pieces (I added them with my fingers and tapped them down with a small spoon).
  3. Freeze for three to four hours or until solid. Freeze and enjoy!

Pumpkin Puree and Banana WOOF Pupsicles

Frozen pumpkin treats are a hit in our household, so I had to try this two-ingredient recipe in the treat mold. Make sure to use canned pumpkin puree that has no sugar or added ingredients. Do not use pumpkin pie mix or pumpkin pie filling mix.

Ingredients:

  1. Can of pumpkin puree
  2. Banana pieces
  3. A small amount of Greek yogurt, if desired

Instructions:

  1. Blend the pumpkin with the banana in a small bowl or directly place some puree into the WOOF Treat ray.
  2. Insert small banana pieces.*
  3. Freeze for three to four hours or until solid, and serve in the WOOF Pupsicle Dog Toy.

*You can add a bit of Greek yogurt to the pumpkin puree mixture to make it creamier. Some pet parents may choose to put everything in a blender, but I wanted simplicity.

Beef Broth and Jerky WOOF Pupsicles

These tasty broth-flavored treats are ideal to keep your dog hydrated. The low-sodium beef broth can be substituted with low-sodium chicken broth. Dog jerky treat pieces are optional.

Ingredients:

  1. Can of a low-sodium beef broth
  2. Small pieces of beef jerky pieces for dogs

  4. Freeze for three to four hours or until solid, and serve in the WOOF Pupsicle Dog Toy.

Peanut Butter and Banana WOOF Pupsicles

This is our favorite and requires only a moment or two. My dog loves peanut butter, so this is our top choice.

Ingredients:

  1. Dog-safe peanut butter (ensure there are no artificial sweeteners in it)
  2. Banana pieces

Instructions:

  1. Scoop peanut butter into the WOOF Treat Tray (blend a small amount of Greek yogurt if desired.)
  2. Add small pieces of bananas.
  3. Freeze for three to four hours or until solid, and serve in the WOOF Pupsicle Dog Toy.

  2. Chopped up blueberries

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan or microwave, melt the coconut oil.
