Lisa Granshaw

Lisa Granshaw is a full-time freelance writer and career counselor based in New York City. After graduating with a B.A. from Tufts University, she was selected for the NBC page program where she worked for Today, Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, Dr. Oz, Saturday Night Live, and the USA Network. After the program, Lisa worked as a production assistant for Nightly News With Brian Williams and Nightly News With Lester Holt.

Once she discovered her passion for digital media, she became a producer and writer for Today's website, Today.com. At Today.com, Lisa managed the Pets & Animals section, producing and writing content daily as well as managing a team of freelancers and editing their work.

Increasingly drawn to the idea of full-time writing, Lisa left Today and started freelancing. Now her work appears on numerous national websites including Today.com, The Huffington Post, MSN, Parents.com, Mashable and the Daily Dot. Her company, Media Career Consulting LLC, offers a variety of consulting services to young professionals interested in a career in the media and communications industry.
