Caroline Seitz is the director of Reptiles Alive LLC, a wildlife education organization.
Since she was 3 years old, Caroline has dedicated her life to teaching other people how important snakes and other misunderstood animals are to our environment. She spent her childhood in the swamp near her house studying the snakes, frogs, insects and other creatures she found. In fourth grade, Caroline performed her first public live reptile show, and at 18, Caroline became a Virginia Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator.
After graduating from George Mason University with a B.A. in Speech Communication, and completing a graduate level course in herpetology, Caroline spent some years working a variety of fun jobs including park ranger, zoo educator and snake removal technician. In 1996, she founded Reptiles Alive LLC, a company which has become super successful in continuing Caroline's message of wildlife education and conservation.
